We know, because we've been there, and we can teach you how to navigate through all the twists and turns. Since 2014, we've been helping families in Evansville, IN and the surrounding areas find their own path for birth and postpartum. We're parents ourselves too. We travel to 7 different hospitals for births and help at home births with midwives present too. We're excited to get to share with you what we've learned so that you can avoid the pitfalls and help us push this area to be even better for birthing and postpartum families.

Note: signing up for our school will add students to our Users list, but students will still need to enroll in specific courses and coaching products of their choice to access our content.

"Without her I never would have known that I am the boss of my own birth! She was amazing, helping answer all, and I mean ALL my questions big or small."

-Jessica, birth doula client

Knowledge

"There wasn't any moment that I didn't know what exactly it was that my body was doing, because she would put it into words which provides an extreme level of comfort during a very uncomfortable time."

-Alex

Practical Tips

"She is full of little tips & ideas that make the pregnancy, birth experience, & even the 4th trimester so much easier. She absolutely didn't replace my Dr or my husband, she enhanced my experience with them & worked alongside them at my birth.

-Emily

Experience

"We talked about our options & she ultimately helped me have the birth I knew I wanted but knew she would support whatever decision we made."

-Alexis

Hi, I’m Hillary Melchiors!

I have a bunch of fancy letters after my name, but the number of families that I have been able to support as a birth doula and childbirth educator here since 2014 is dearest to my heart. My PhD in Medical Anthropology and Masters in Public Health taught me some very valuable skills for research, communication, teaching, and more that I bring with me to my job. My goal with every course I teach is for students to walk away with knowledge and skills that they can put into practice for themselves to make their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum even better.
